Tehran, Sept 3. MOBNA – By 197 votes for, 62 votes against and 27 abstentions, Parliament has backed Reza Taghipour as 10th government Information and Communication Technology Minister.
In Sep 3 Parliament session, held to approve 10th government proposed cabinet ministers, Reza Taghipour, former head of Iran Aerospace Agency, obtained Parliament backing as ICT Minister.
52-year-old Taghipour was among few proposed ministers facing no apposition when declaring their programs in Parliament.
Taghipour holds a BSc in computer engineering, an MSc in industrial engineering and is currently a Phd student in management.
