Tehran, Sept 3. MOBNA – Privatization Organization deputy has announced that more than one company have applied for Telecommunication Company of Iran block shares.
“It is not clear how many companies are seeking TCI block shares and there is no limitation in that regard,” Mahdi Oghadayee told Mobna news agency.
Unofficial reports say that a consortium of Shasta, Sepah Cooperative and an unknown individual is seeking the shares.
According to a Government decree, foreign companies can buy up to 49 percent of TCI shares.
