Tehran, Aug 31. MOBNA – Telecommunication Company of Iran has opposed RCRO approval to cutting copper cable tariff, TCI public relations office announced.

“TCI will lose by this approval and has not been offered any solution to offset the loss,” Davood Zareian told Mobna news agency.
“RCRO should revise the approval,” he said.
The cut from 30,000 rials to 10,000 rials in the selling price of copper cable to private sector was approved by RCRO commission and is due to be decreed to telecommunication companies nationwide.
The approval will cut the cost of ADSL (high speed internet) by 20,000 rials.
