Motorola’s Iranian market in recession

Tehran, Aug 29. MOBNA – The cut in demand for Motorola mobile sets has resulted in its market recession.

Market sources believe that customers’ reluctance towards American-made mobile sets has led to such a state of affairs.
Also, the offer of different and new models by well-known international brands has led to buyers not opting for Motorola mobile sets as they seldom appear on the market.
The cut in legal import of Motorola mobiles has also led to this situation.
Managing director of Pars Comtel, authorized distributor of Motorola mobiles, believes that lack of presentation of Motorola new models is another reason for the recession.
”Since Motorola mobiles in Iran are in limited models, official distributors prefer to reduce their distribution,” Hossein Payandeh said.
