Economic ministry’s 120 billion rials debt to TCI

Tehran, 13 July. MOBNA – Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance owes 120 billion rials to Telecommunication Company of Iran, TCI public relations said.

“The debt is due to extra tax received by the ministry and has to be refunded to TCI,” Davood Zareian told Mobna news agency.
Government agencies’ debt to TCI reached 125.245 billion rials last Iranian year (ended March 2009).
TCI is country’s most profit-making company after the Iranian Oil Company.
