Tehran, July 9. MOBNA – Mobile phone sms service will be reconnected early next week, an official at Telecommunication Company of Iran said.
“At the same time, MMS (multimedia messages), GPRS (mobile internet) and content providers (mass sms contractors) link will also be reactivated,” he told Mobna news agency.
SMS network, which was disconnected on June 11, was reconnected after 21 days but was disconnected again along with other value-added services.
The network disconnection has aggravated over 31 million Mobile Company of Iran, 14 million IranCell and one million Taliya subscribers.
Figures show that some 60 million sms messages are sent daily by mobile phone subscribers.
