MCI roaming with rural wireless phone in Mazandaran Province

Iran and rural wireless landline network in near future, Mazandaran Province Telecommunication Company managing director said.

Tehran, June 29. MOBNA – Roaming service will be established in Mazandaran Province between Mobile Company of
“Currently, 300 rural ICT offices have been launched in the province which offer postal, telecommunication and Post Bank services to its rural communities,” Hassanjan Abbaspour said.
“With the help of these offices more than 1,300,000 rural trips to pay telecommunication bills will be saved,” he added.
”All Mazandaran villages have telecommunication links. Rural landline penetration rate has currently reached 38 percent and all villages have internet service and caller ID phones,” he said.
“Landline and mobile phone lines are being delivered on demand and so far 55,000 rural sim cards have been sold,” he added.
