Prepaid landline phone launched in provinces

Tehran, June 24. MOBNA – Prepaid landline phone will be launched in all provinces, Iran Telecommunication Company managing director said.

“Telecommunication companies in each province proceeded separately to offer prepaid landline service. Prepaid landline phones work similar to prepaid mobile phone and subscribers have to pay before making calls by obtaining a charge card,” Saber Feizi told Mobna news agency.
He spoke on offering prepaid landline service in some provinces by the end of this year (Iranian).
A center for a 40,000 prepaid landline number has been recently launched in Fars Province.
The installation cost of prepaid landline phone is 100,000 rials but its tariff has not yet been determined.
