Tehran, June 23. MOBNA – A home filtering software will be offered free of charge within the next two months, Information Dissemination Council’s technical deputy announced.
“This free product will be offered to families who have children and want to protect them from internet ills,” Behrouz Minaee told Mobna news agency.
“In most countries the software is installed in PCs. The software has been designed in accordance with Iranian cultural values,” he added.
“It is different from internet filters which are on the basis of key words and prohibited database sites and reports. It is optional and shows the correct way of using the internet,” he continued.
“Smart and automatic identification of images is another feature of the software,” he said.
