Network to implement Virtual Unit Trade Window project

Tehran, Jun 17 – Virtual Unit Trade Window project has been installed in Zahedan and Tabriz Customs offices physically and its virtual implementation would depend on providing telecommunication infrastructure and network facilities, Customs Administration’s programs and plans deputy announced.

“The project takes up physically 50 percent of existing Customs projects and is of special importance,” Reza Jomhouri said.
“It will be implemented physically in 15 Customs offices by the end of this Iranian year (20 March 2009),” he said.
“In physical form all organizations and relevant trade companies that issue legal licenses gather in one place and the commodity owner will not need to refer to different places and organizations in order to receive certificates such as commodity registration, a feature that would cut down on expenses and facilitate work,” he said.
