Tehran, Jun 16. MOBNA – Major vendors such as Huawei and Ericsson have designed Iran NGN (Next Generation Network) RFB (Request for Proposal).
“Huawei and Ericsson are ready to perform pilot projects in Iran,” Telecommunication Company of Iran chief Naser Yousefpour said.
“There are 60 million mobile phone and landline switch centers in Iran. The country’s telecommunication market is dynamic and Huawei has recognized it,” he said.
“Iran is ready to perform NGN tests in three provinces,” he added.
“All major vendors active in Iran, in addition to gaining necessary standards, may sell their products worldwide,” he continued.
“Huawei can offer its services and products in Iran and the profit of this cooperation will be important to Huawei as vendor,” NGN committee head said
