Telecom Accessories union in negotiation with commerce ministry over mobile sale permission

Tehran, June 13. MOBNA –Telecom Accessories union is currently in negotiation with government officials over permission to sell mobile sets, the union’s vice president said.

“Telecom Accessories union is in negotiation with commerce ministry, Iran guilds union and distribution guilds amalgamation for permission to sell mobile sets,” Gholam-Hossein Karimi told Mobna news agency.
“Currently, the union members have license to repair mobile sets and perform after sale services but electronic devices and accessories vendors union members are the ones who have license to sell mobile sets,” he added. 
Pointing to a merger between the two unions, proposed by mobile phone and electronic device vendors union, Karimi said that Telecom Accessories union was currently carrying out its tasks and any talk or report indicating a merger was unfounded.”
