Sms network disconnection continues

Tehran, June 13. MOBNA – The disorder that occurred in all national operator sms networks on Thursday June 11 is continuing.

 Both Telecommunication Company of Iran and Mobile Company of Iran officials, however, have yet to announce officially the reason for the disorder.
Meanwhile, some TCI officials have indicated that the network was disconnected on the orders of security officials in order to prevent violence in the tenth Presidential Election.
The three operators, namely MCI, Taliya and Irancell have in total more than 47 million subscribers. MCI subscribers on ordinary days transmit 50 million sms messages which has reached 90 million just before the election campaigns.
