Tehran, May 30. MOBNA – Detected smuggled mobile sets are sold in free market, a commodity anti-smuggling official said.
“After confronting with mobile set smugglers the mobiles are sold in market by confiscated commodities collection and sale organization,” he told Iran’s mobile news agency.
“In commodity anti-smuggling headquarter smuggled mobile phone shipments which are imported via southern and western borders are arrested by police force every week,” he said.
“After selling smuggled mobile sets which are released in market via unofficial means, the revenue will enter the government treasury,” he elaborated.
“Mobile sets without original warranty are welcomed while the piece difference with warranted mobile sets is high,” he continued.
90 percent of mobile sets in market are released in market via illegal means.
