72 percent of villages with population of 100,000 have landline: telecom minister

Tehran, May 18. MOBNA – Spot sale of landline to 72 percent of villages with more than 20-households and population of 100,000 has finished, telecommunication minister said.

“Currently communication field has proper situation and most delays have been fixed,” Mohammad Soleymani said in conference to celebrate World Telecommunication Day.
“Although it was predicted that landline goes spot sale in villages more than 50-households, moreover 72 percent of villages with population of 100,000 have landline now,” he said.
