Tehran, May 17. MOBNA – After telecommunication privatization, governmental role should become stronger and more lawful, telecommunication minister said.
“All Iran cities have landline and mobile phone facilities. 70 percent of villages with more than 20-household have landline,” Mohammad Soleymani said in conference to celebrate World Telecommunication Day.
“Mobile phone penetration rate has reached to nearly 70 percent,” he said.
“Communication progress day by day in Iran,” he continued.
“Huge contracts have been inked to manufacture telecommunication equipments,” he added.
